No special tools except some flare nut wrenches for the pressurizd line fittings from the tank to the chassis steel lines. I never depressurize the lines, just catch the spray with a rag when I crack the seal, or disconnect the wiring connector at the tank and run the motor til it dies.

If I remember right, the flare nut sizes are 14mm and 19mm, and only one end has a swivel fitting. You may be able to pull the pump assembly without removing the pressure line. The fuel return line is a simple hose clamp, I think, no real pressure on that one.

The gasket tends to stick to the tank. Peel it loose slowly so you don't tear it.

A real easy job, except sometimes the flare nuts are a bear to get loose. Aceteone+dexron is a great penetrant.
