lol, I actually just did that...that was the end that had the swivel connector. The rubber ends do not swivel.

Last question for everyone...my little rubber hose inside the pump looked good (still gonna replace)...how do you clean the little screen at the end of the pump? It doesnt seem to come off the pump

EDIT: well I finished the project. I ended up just spraying off the screen with a garden hose and just brushing the fuel screen with a tooth brush...everything went back together nicely.
