Only one end swivels. Try breaking loose the hard line end.

Same flare nut sizes. Alternate method: with a hack saw or whiz wheel, cut off the crimp on the rubber hose, and peel it off. Cut off the rubber hose with a knife. Both ends have this done. Replace the cut off hose and crumps with FI hose and double clamps. It will hold the pressure just fine.

Body Damage is Cool
i soaked the fitting with some brake fluid then i clamped a small set of vice grips on the crimp on the rubber hose side then i could unscrew the swivel from the tank fitting napa has the tools to re-crimp the hose if it tears

it dosent have to be surrounded by water to be an island

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I ended up going underneath the tank and loosen hose from hardline side. use flare nut wrench when possible.

lol, I actually just did that...that was the end that had the swivel connector. The rubber ends do not swivel.

Last question for everyone...my little rubber hose inside the pump looked good (still gonna replace)...how do you clean the little screen at the end of the pump? It doesnt seem to come off the pump

EDIT: well I finished the project. I ended up just spraying off the screen with a garden hose and just brushing the fuel screen with a tooth brush...everything went back together nicely.

Well this mightve fixed my stutter issue. I was getting a stuttering whenever i ran my gas tank real low, it would last for a couple days in this condition even after i filled up

I ran my gas down real low yesterday and no stutter at all. Its weird bc the small rubber hose looked to be in real good shape and the fuel screen looked fine too?

Yes, the fuel screen.

Usually, if you can see thru it, it's not the problem. The pump itself often has an internal screen as well on the inlet. Not sure about yours.

In any case, it's fixed. Can't remember, and too lazy to reverse click and look - you did the fuel filter too?
