Yes, but they have tanks or unexploded ordinance on them, or something other than bird poop falling out of the sky on you. Ft. Benning covers a LOT of ground down there. You have to get north of Atlanta to find any decent wheeling in my book.

It's river bottom country, so it's real boggy, all pine trees, with a few bottomland hardwoods. Not real interesting.

Now, if you are into fleshpots, there's Phenix City, AL right across the river - not as torrid as it was in the 40's and 50's. There was a thug elected Gov of AL who got elected because his daddy got killed trying to "clean up" Phenix CIty. "Clean up" in this case is defined as raising the required bribes.... Look up John Patterson for a laugh.
