i am not sure how this will effect the motor. seeing how i will be useing this as a non turbo applaction, i see no sence in swapping pistions and ring when this looks to be almost new,


You can run the low compression pistons and have a turbo ready motor. Each point of compression ration that you drop drops your power and fuel economy about 3%.

A new set of cast pistons with rings should cost around $120, plus the cost to press them off.

You should also get the rods checked to make sure they are not out of round.
