BTW mine is kinda green... Depends on the light. Aqua marine-ish... LOL. I had to run errands all over tonight after work and let me tell you I'd have a really hard time selling my luxurious montero SR! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> but if you want to turbo it or help me do a diesel swap I am game!

You all didn't see him in action two years ago when Mudraider came over to the gulf side. The fact that it ran another 40k with Matt behind the wheel, trying to see what it would take, speaks volumes that you just don't know. I was ready for it to let go that day. I didn't know he was driving it into the ground... I thought he was just a nutt... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> But I am surprised it ran this long. My 1990 was blowing coolant into the reservoir for like 2 years before it finally blew. I drow it to PA and back like that! Every time I'd get gas I would also pour the coolant back into the radiator <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Yeah she was a good truck. All of this talk has me motivated to fix it...maybe make a big POS twin turbo mud buggy. I'll have to get that approved through the wifey.
Anyways, picked up the replacement yesterday. '98 Montero. It's white with leather interior and very nice so you guys don't need to worry. I will take good care of this one! I'll try to get some pics up. Does anyone know if the OEM gen2 brush guard fits on the gen2.5? It kinda looks like it will.
Did all Gen2.5's come with a rear locker and leather? This one has it. It was advertised as a SR but there are no SR emblems.

I had a '94 Puerto Rican spec Montero that i bought off Motero. It leaked oil, burned oil and fouled out plugs regularly, It needed an engine so i decided before i pulled it to replace the old 3.0 i'd let it go out with a BANG! I ran it wide open for 5-10 minutes until i got bored of it not coming apart. Mitsu V6's are tough.

Thanks! Matt, the 98 I got my rear-end for the MudRaider is an air-locker, and it had the leather back seats still in it.
