I have a 2001 Montero limited - how do you get the spark plugs out? It looks like you need to remove the intake manifold. I find this hard to believe but I wanted to has before taking everything apart.

Remove the intake manifold. Good time to change the timing belt if your going to change the plugs. The plugs and timing belt are usually done at the sane time.

If you had the service manual you'd know this, get it. You can find the information in Offroaders post located on the first page of this forum. There is other information on that page you need to read also. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
