First of all - its not like we live in a warzone. far from that.I am surprised to hear from lots of people that they think we live in a desert, a warzone, or whatever. This isnt sarayevo or afganistan. its just that On the tip of the northern part of the country,where Syria used to rule, there are still some active minefields. the army doesnt want to deal with them cause its dangerous-so they simply put a fence around the minefields. As for affroading -- well - we are lucky - especially because Israel has a very intereesting and diverse landscape. also - when you venture out of the city limits, vevry place has some serious history - the sea of galilee, nazereth, samaria, jerusalem, betlehem, the river jordan - for you guys these are places you read about in church (no offence intended of course, as one might imagine, im jewish...a rock crawling jew, ha ha!) - for me these are great places to go offroading.
