Not since it was rebuilt... you sure the cam timing it set right? You can look just pull the valve cover and turn the crank tell you get it to TDC. look at the dowel pin and see if it is right at Noon if it is very low then turn the crank one more time around. as see where it is. If you not sure take a pit of it as close to sight on as you can.

Pin is in the cam or on the sprocket? Is the cam timing different from dist. Timing?
