My neighbor has offered to sell me his 1986 C-20 Suburban 4x4 and I want to see if I can get some opinions on it...

It has 76k miles (ish) a 350 carbed (factory), headers, and what I can tell is it has a Turbo 400 trans and I think a 205? tranfer case.

He'll let it go for 1200, cheap, but as with all 1000 dollar cars, it need a bit of work...

Whatcha think?

"Does this part need to be in there?"

1996 Dodge 1500 single cab / short bed, 5.9 4x4; 2" lift (springs not blocks), C.A.I and more mods to come.

86 was getting the end of the carburetor 350s. I have head of engine problems with them.

Other than that, they are sound vehicle and a proven work horse.

76k is low mileage.
