Roll Me Over
The 87 Montero Diesel should be ready soon for a trip. FE, how could I forget your skill as ballast even though my fat arse would have done a better job hanging off the side instead of in the driver's seat scaring DavidG to death thinking I was going to crush him.

Let me know when you all are ready. And here's the legendary photo of FE's skinny butt.

One more pic for a reality check. The six year old boy peaking out of the passenger window in this pic is now a 6' 3" 13 year old that wears a size 16 Lacrosse cleat! I can't believe it's been that long since this trip. Asa still talks about "Fast Eddy" and "Sparkem" and climbing up the tower.

javy, you wife has to cook. Still remember the "head install" meal. Magnifico, Senora, muy, muy bueno...

Powell, I know own a signal yellow swb, but it needs a fuel line before I see if i bought a running truck or not. If not, it's getting a 2.4 turbo motor instead of the 3.0. If you don't know what color signal yellow is, the vanity tag used to read "tonka88".

How about 3-17?

That's Stonewall Tell, off old 441 south of Tiger. Turn W off old 441 at the telephone building. It has signs. BUT, I think they have "improved" the site into bike trails, so may not be accessible now. There was a large power transmission line built thru the area several years ago. MarkG may know.

Access old 441 just south of the bridges a couple of miles N of Tallulah Gorge and the Park from new 441N. turn left n'bound and take an immediate right onto old 441N.

Alternate scenic route, turn onto old 441n at the red light for the park campground, left if n'bound, and take the last left just before rejoining new 441. This takes you past Tallulah Dam lake, the old tallulah falls jail, the old powerhouse for lake rabun, fed by an underground tunnel and huge pipes coming thru the high ridge to the west.

John, you've been there several times...
