This poor green Montero was sold, left with expired tags on the street, towed and crushed. Had a rebuilt engine, AC switched to R134 and needed a transmission. It was definitely one I should have kept in the end, but wife wanted a 4-door. This Montero even had stainless dress up pieces on the exterior door handles, haven't seen others. Yeah i hate to see nice trucks go to the crusher. I'll keep updating this with more pics as i go along and try to make videos of the first run in the truck and drive.

Super nice. Love the color.

Just got back from the EU late last week and playing catch up, but I desperately want some diesel power now. We drove a brand new ASX (aka: Outlander Sport) which was a 1.8L TD with a 6-speed manual. We beat on it and still got 64mpg.

Think it might be time for my 4G63 and 4G54 to get replaced. Now, where to find a big bag o' money...

Still need to find a straight hood and paint that but otherwise it just needs all the trim installed. Most of my stuff is either broken or missing so i'm working on an order with rxinhed, still trying to figure out everything i'll need.

I still need some other pieces he wasn't able to supply, headlamp sprayers and the door window rubber felt things.
