Calling a junk yard is a waste of time they never seem to really know whats in there yard ...One of the 5speed montys and the auto will be crushed soon ... You can easily tell if the trans is good by pulling the 'shifter tower' and looking if the blocker ring is up against the gear ...And feeling the bearing if there smooth ..But you would have to pull the trans on a Monty to tell... Is the trans going into reverse smoothly ...?
