I can never remember the trick to sliding the 2nd row seats forward. I can fold the seats in half by pulling the round tab on top of the back rest. And I can get the seat to fold up and forward against the front seat and lock into position. But I always struggle to get the seat to slide to it forward postion when folded in half.

I have also read that if you slisde the front seat all the way forward, slide the 2nd row seat forward, then recline the 2nd row all the way back you can make a bed? Is this possible? I assume you need to have the 3rd row down to make the "bed" long enough. I amagine your head would be on near the front row seats and feet on the 3rd row seat. Anyone have a pic?

Not sure on sliding the second forward, never tried. If they do, I would guess a level down low behind them. Something that a person in the third row would initiate.

For the bed, move the front seat all the way forward, pull the headrest, then recline it all the way back. When it gets to the point that it meets the second row, you may have to "help" it the last little ways down so that it is as flat as it will go and flush with the second row. Lower the third rows and the recline the second row.

Slept on mine a couple times. You have to be a back sleeper, I think. They aren't flat enough to go too far over on your side.

Making the "bed"

It doesenst show exactly how to fold them down, but it does show the possible configs. If nothing else, it is an interesting set of video's. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I've done it several times & used to "camp" in there during 4wheel trips before I took the 3rd row out completely.

Basically just like you recline it back, recline it forward all the way. This should "release" it. But have found as our vehicles get older, "releasing" it doesn't always happen so you have to do it a couple times and you may have to be slightly rough with it.

Or if that doesn't work, there may be an extra step that I may be missing. Its been like 5 years since I've tried it, but you may have to pull the tab up near the head rest. But as I "replay" it in my mind, you probably don't have to now that I think about it haha <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Its in the owners manual. That's where I originally read it <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

The bed is a cool-ness factor but not the most comfy. It does the job. Mainly used it durning my younger years with the past gf's but I won't go there on this site <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
