They only lasted a handful of trips, they were going to send me a new set to replace the broken ones and examine the failed units but never happened. I had one of them explode on a pretty mild trail, the hub body is weak and the casting had a lot of imperfections in the metal. I know a lot about metal by the way.


I've been away from the forum for quite awhile now, but I defintiely do recall there being some discussion here on the forum regarding Rugged Ridge that there were 2 versions... a "1st generation" and a "2nd generation". I dont recall exact differences, etc. But I remember there was mention the 2nd gen was to be beefier, etc. and a lot of the vendors at the time with the existing 1st gen were looking to clear out stock (hence perhaps the ebay deal found).
