Adjusted the timing, and now I am smoking pretty bad. Always smoked for a few seconds on first start, but now I am smoking after idling for a minute on. Seems to be worse after the engine is warm, or if I get on it a little.

Quick recap - rebuilt the short block, didn't touch the head (saving up for a Clearwater). Just wanted all the expert opinions... I looked through all the old threads but didn't find any videos.

And thank you for my A/C question, my cheap "quick fill kit" gauge was not accurate, so even the lowest PSI was over charged.

Thank you,

Does it smoke when you first start it in the morning or after it sits off for a few hours?

Correct me if I'm wrong (don't have the 2.6 so I normally don't pay close attention to remembering details in those posts but I didn't think they had VSS issues?!? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
