Driving from San Antonio to Omaha in June with the dog and the kids, 4 month old, 4 year old and the wife. I'm looking to make it as comfortable as possible and bought some 3M pro grade Rubberized undercoating. I figure that atleast it will look good if I spray the wheel wells and hope that it will help with the sound also. But I'm not sure if I can spray in the door panels and floor? Has anyone used this? It's extremely flammable but don't figure it would be dry. I'm mainly worried about the smell after drying, if any. Also the prices I found for OE weather stripping seem pretty steep, atleast $370 for around door for all doors on mitsubishiparts.com. Has anyone used anything else, I figure OE is the best way to go but would rather not spent that much. Thank you.
