your Montero will have no trouble outdoing any landrover

We have a strong Land Rover presence around here. One proud mother of a LR guy looks at the winch on the front of my Montero and questions if I have a rear mounted winch as well.
I told her when I am out with a group, the Land Rover owners insist to be up front, therefore I have no need for a rear winch.
Her expression was priceless.

Speaking of pulling people out. i drove Draider and pulled a Tacoma SR5 out of the mud this past weekend after it could not make it through a mud hole that the raider glided through.

I'd just do a day, no classes. I just want to check out some rigs and some new gizmos i can't afford. Then camp somewhere not near the expo and just hang out, possibly near oak creek.

Crayfish massacre!!!!

We should make a post in AzCrew forum, NOT IT.

Not It! (Finger on nose). There is a spot I have camped off of 89 right before the switchbacks on the east side of the road before the lookout. Big open field near pine trees. Or we can pony up for camping in the canyon if we can get lucky to get a spot. No idea as to were crawfish would be at though. I would love to do devils staircase, but I'm rocking nearly bald 31's so I doubt I can do it unless I put my 235's back on.

FWIW, it's only US$10 to camp there. Understand there will be lots of other attendees but it could be fun/impressive to be there with a big group of Mitsu 4x4 owners.

Need a Spot
I've been looking for an event like this. I'll have to talk the wife into going with me. I'm in the Phoenix area, any of you go on trail local rides? Love to join up.
