Ok, I guess I'll take a stab at planning this deal.

I think We were all planning on heading up Saturday and finding a campout saturday evening, then to head back sunday. I have know plans as to where to camp up that way mostly cause I don't know the area. Can somebody come up with a good spot to camp somewhere near the expo. The other thing is that I think if we are all going to make a run up there we should take the 87 through payson to Lake Mary Rd. I'm not a fan of the I-17 but if thats what it must be then thats what we will do.

Just a thought...
Meet up on the Bush Highway exit off the 87 at 8:30am on saturday the 19th. Give everybody about 30 min to show up and leave that spot around 9am, That would put us up there somewhere around the 11am hour. Walk around, shoot the breeze for a while, leave the expo by no later than 5ish find camp.

What do you guys think, nothing there is in stone just a base plan for now?

Should we have a fry fest again???

Haven't camped near that area. I live here so I'll meet you guys there. I'm down for camping in Sedona near the waste water plant or where ever. We can caravan all of us thru Sedona and show off to the jeep guys down there.

I'm out. Camping obligation the following weekend and I can't afford both.

I'm out as well. Spent $160 for 2 nights' hotel in California... and $300+ in fuel getting there and back. Definitely want to check this event out some day. Take lots of pictures, gentlemen.

I'm hoping to go still. In the process of putting new bolts in for the control arm, noticed something wrong the rotor.

Damn caliper froze and I guess last time I used 4L it must have snapped the rotor. Got the caliper and rotor in stock, just gotta find time to get it done and aligned.

Wow, never seen that sort of mess before! Good thing you were able to catch it, without it 'catching' you!

Today while out at lunch, I saw a Pinzgauer, a white F650 4x4 box van with camper windows/door, and two "done up" (in a more expeditiony, less rock-crawlery sort of way) TJ's cruising around phoenix, so I guess the out of town crowd is in state...

I knew the caliper was froze but I've never had it hold the rotor under load like that. I hope I'm done tonight but I've got a migraine brewing. Maybe I'll have the other half put it back together. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
