Greetings,

i just got/getting some custom fab work done, paying a good penny too.

if anyone is interested in front and rear bumpers with attachemnts swing away, roof racks etc... my 97 montero ls is the test bucket. due to we all know no one makes any kits or aftermarket armor for our rigs. let me know,
ill be posting pics up of the before and after work on it.
this shop really wants to branch in this market if there is signs of possibilities.

Just make sure they know that Montero's are much heavier than Jeeps. It seems shops tend to underbuild things for these trucks sometimes because they don't realize how bulky they are.

Good point. Fully equiped with gear and provisions for a week or 2 of overlanding you can be as heavy as 6K lbs.!! If outfitted for rock crawling, they're even heavier because of the armor/protection. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/oink.gif" alt="" />
