I never did make it to a Uwharrie gathering, although I had all intentions of coming twice. Life got in the way both times.

Still in Augusta and just got the Monterbo running well again, although Son #2 drives it now. He rather reminds me of a kid with his new puppy. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> He does love that old truck. He'll take care of it, too.

I had a better idea of what the hell's going on this time, so after an initial set-back (coolant seep from not replacing head bolts), it's all sealed up...i.e. drip free - oil and coolant...and performing nicely.

If you're ever in the neighborhood (and it's not that far, really)...you know what to do.
