Mine does the same thing,,,it always has. Mine stayed noisey after I replaced throwout and clutch. Then figured it was bearings in trans. That was a 50,000 miles ago. I think that big 5 speed maybe is normal to be a little rumbbly. I'm alway keepin my eye out for a spare MT.
Seems that the MT s I here about usually go out by not shifting out of 4th,,something like that. The trans experts will hopefully jump in here. Mine has 250,000 on it. One though unit.
