picked this up on Craigslist for $1000.

Pa_Jero helped me do a final inspection and towed it home.

Saw this one pop up on CL. My Pops was asking about Monteros, so I was looking to see what might be available. How bad is the oil leak, and could you tell where it was coming from? Looks to be in good shape otherwise. What do you think it will take to make it a runner?

Oil pours out from the bottom end of the motor, not sure if its the oil pan or something in the front where the timing is. Pa_Jero can attest to this.

As for fixing it... well the seller didn't know I have a spare motor that I am swapping in

So I am pulling a good motor out of a crap truck and putting it in the new white one. The guy had done an upper rebuild on the motor and I am just hoping he did a bad job. But there is a lot of noise coming from the upper motor.

Body Damage is Cool
Damn, that looks really clean. Whats the mileage?
Funny, but even a "plain jane" has power windows. Did they make any Gen II with crank windows?
