What video formats and video codec's does your android device support?

For my ipad, it recognizes mpeg 4 encoded using h.264 codec.

On a Windows 7 pc I use Handbrake which rips the dvd plus a decrypter. I can then rip my dvd's using Handbrake to an mpeg4 file (selecting the optimum resolution for my ipad) using the h.264 codec so I can view them on my ipad.

The procedure for your android device should be the same.
