some of those more in the know on this engine please comment...
I believe block and heads from the 3.5 used in the Hyundai GL350 , like 2003 ,,,and the early Kia Sedona van and Sorento are leftovers bought from Mitsubishi when they were more startup companies. If so there are many more heads , blocks, and cores out there to work with and at a lower price by not being an engine only used 2 years in the U.S. market in Monteros only.
