I know this is a bit out of bounds because it's not T100 but, here goes.

In doing new springs on my 18 year old T100, welding up leaks on my gas tank and now replacing the timing belt and water pump, some day I will need to replace the truck but with what?

By some strange chance when I was leaving a place where I picked up some tools a toyota landcruiser truck was parked right next to me. I waited for the owner to come back to his truck. 2000 pound axle, 8 leaf rear spring pack, 4WD, manual transmission, good old fashion manual hubs on the front wheels. Now the best part

4.0L 6 cylinder inline diesel engine.

This truck was just killer.

The owner had driver it up from Costa Rica.

This is what I have been wanting for a years. I just don't like the big bloated Tundra, F150/250, Ram. These trucks have become sofas with 4WD and automatic everything. The truck in the picture is a bare bones work horse. Why can't we get this kind of truck here in the US?
