No kidding, whats weird is when I purchased my 87 the guy who sold it to me in South Dakota said go to 4x4 wire Mitsubishi page and I didnt think much about it till it started idling weird, after installing a Weber from advice here I check the sight almost daily, so I thought Id look at a Cummings forum,since I have one of those to and nothing like the brotherhood of here.
