Well, we were doing a full power run the other day, and I was reading 1.5 million ft/lbs of torque per shaft. I didn't believe it, but yep, it was true. I truly can't fathom the magnitude of the power this thing puts out. Flat out amazing...

The Cruiser is in Oklahoma at my Ma's place. I'm going to be selling it when I get back. I've got $25k in it, but I picked up a 73 project that's in the garage in CA and just closed a deal for a 69 driver here. Just gotta get it to Oahu from Maui. This one's for the kid when I get back, and I'll put the 73 together for myself. We're both stoked! Can't believe he'll be 16 this year! Sheesh...

Anyway, I've probably rambled enough. I'm nearing the end of my Navy time. 20 years in August. That's enough, I think. I've got some catching up to do in much more important areas of my life. I'll post some pics of the new cruisers when I can figure out how to get things up from my iPhone or iPad via Starbucks. Haha.

Time to start working on a resume; August is just around the corner, esp if any terminal leave is taken; trrrust me, darlink!

Also don't forget to ensure there will be enough federal withholding from your retirement pay. Lots of joes mess that up their first year or two out.

I guess what I said was a little misleading. I owe two dept head rides, so I've got about 2-1/2 years left. All in all, I'll wrap it up with about 23 total years. Gonna try and get a reaching gig when it's all said and done. Should be fun... Did that attachment go through on my last post? That rooster tail had me giggling like a school girl. Everyone thinks I'm crazy...hahaha

BTDT with big wave crawling...

Rather be rock crawling!!!

Your picture didn't show. I would like to see it. At one time I had a picture of a nice rooster tail behind a 2100 FRAM-1 tin can.

John, can I send it to your email, and you can post it for me? I also have some videos of "the sounds of freedom." I watched from the bridge and felt the heat when we shot SM2s. I have 5" gun shoot and ASROC videos, too...
