I do not know how the actuator looks from close till I see it but I REALLY hope it is that guy, I could live without it for a while till I can get another diff carrier.

I have a full air locker carrier sitting on my garage floor, if you need parts, I'd certainly "part it out".

On an interestng note, the 96 SR I rode in with wildblue took a long, long time to release the rear locker. We were back into 2Hi and I'll bet it took over a minute. It was getting to the point that I was thinking of this thread and getting scared! Never been insde the carrier myself, so no clue how it could get jammed up like that. It engaged very quickly though...

Was the actuator torn??? How in the world did it engage? I didnt see any signs of tear or damage, it was getting late and wanted to put everything back together to have the car ready for the next day (it is my daily driver). It took a bit of an effort to push it back in place, my best guess is lack of good lubrication and/or grime on the shaft where the locker gear slides. As I am sure that locker has never been used before. gear teeth were good. again that is my best guess
