hello gang. I just had a 70K mile 2.6 installed after mine bit the dust. The new engine was having carb issues so I decided to just buy the weber conversion. I dropped it off and am having installed. The guy called this morning and told me that he had it installed and it was running to lean, to the point that it would burn up piston. He has ordered new jets and a circut of some sorts, sorry I can't recall the name.
Question, of any out there that have done the conversion, have you had any issues with it being to lean or needing to drill the jets? I'm just trying to figure out why new carb is having these sorts of issues... Any thoughts?
