Roll Me Over
*****
It pains me to do this, but I Finally decided to sell my little 89 to help finance my bass fishing addiction and purchase of a boat..I'll post some pics later but heres the the stats.

1989 3.0 12V SOHC V6 (6G72) with Automatic transmission

-96 SR rear end with locking differentail with disk brakes
-96 SR Trailing Arms
-KYB Gas-a-just shocks on all four corners
-96 SR Dual piston front brake calipers and rotors
-4 New rubber brake hoses to front brakes front
-Replaced valve guide seals about 3 years ago no oil burning or smoke since
-Timing belt, water pump, front crank seal, cam seals, and tensioner bearing were replaced when I first bought truck in 08.
-transmission was replaces with one I got from a pick in pull with 140K on it. Changed the rear main seal at the same time.
-Roger Brown 2" Body lift ( should clear 35's if you want)
-Custom rock sliders welded to frame
-Custom front bumper
-Custom low profile rear bumper
-ARB Safari Snorkel
-Smittybuilt 8000lb winch with 10,000lb sythetic line (winch has never pulled a load)Aluminum Hause failead
-Rear seat converted to 95SR jump seats still will fold and tumble
-Walmart Cobra CB
-New carpet
-switched aux condenser fan for extra air flow through the front when rock crawling.
-Optima Red top (MILSPEC)
-Superwinch Manual Hubs
-Hella H4 headlight conversion
-15x8 Eagle alloy baja style rims (have a bit of rock rash)
-BFG 33x12.50 Mud terrain (Old KM2 style) tires rears are about 60% fronts are about 25%..
-Replaced Front wheel bearings and wheel seals less than a year ago

If someone wants to pay a bit extra, I will sell it with the ARB front locker, onboard air, and Aussie 2.85 Tranfer case gears.. If not I'll be installing those two items onto my 91 LWB and putting the 91 front diff and stock transfer case into the 89 prior to sale.

Issues with the truck:

- I Just drove it From Cali to North Carolina. Made it fine. Starts easy on first crank.
- Tires are a little rough need balanced. If I was to daily drive I would replace with the new style BFG's or GY Duratracks that I had on it before.
- After market electric sunroof works but leaks I sealed it with some silicone and leave it closed
- Headlineer is a mess and for some reason it's blue? always wanted to replace that thing...
-Has a few bumps and bruises on body but nothing too bad, I'll show in photos
-Hood and passenger front fender were re-painted at some point and the aftermarket paint has not held up well to the humidity here..some surface rust on each..needs sanded and repaint..Rest of paint is good but has faded impressions from the previous owners decals that were all over the rig when I bought it.

Frame is impecable (no rust) truck was originally a southern california truck (Compton CA) and when I bought it in AZ it was stil registered in Cali. Very strong running truck. Over 200K miles and replaced the speedo a couple years ago when the needle cracked so exact milage not known. The engine was replaced at one point with what I belive to be a FwD variant 3.0 I've put the Montero valve covers and timing belt cover on the engine so its Montero correct now. ..thats all I can think of for now..got to get back to work over here

Special 4x4 wire price $3,100 (Very Firm)
With the front locker and gears $4,100

Located in Sneads Ferry North Carolina PM me with questions. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />

I saw this, thought you still lived in arizona, and got really excited. Then I saw your new location.

Free bump for a really nice looking rig

Lucky for me, he did move. I'm out of driveway space.

This is a turn-key truck. Justice knows his stuff. And that's a deal if the new owner buys it "full boat" and keeps the gears, etc.

I'm leaving the front locker and transfer case with 2.85's in for another week. Once I swap the tranfer case and front end over to my 91 LWB those will not be available with this. The winch, rear locker, and all the armor will remain with and be sold with the truck.

Forgot to add that I have a Gen 2 steering box from a 95SR and an engine oil cooler that I never got around to installing. Those items go with the truck.
