NAPA Gold/Purolator Pure One/Stock Mitsu filter are good. Just don't use Fram of any type. Their anti-drainback valves suck.

Oil? Get ready for an avalanche of opinions. If your truck doesn't leak or burn too much, I'd use Mobil 1. You can't leave it in long enough to need the extended performance formula, I'd think, with a truck as old as it is.

Use the recommended weight, which I can't recall off the top of my head...10W-30?
