Was wondering if anyone would know where i could find an ecu pinout. or happen to know which wire feeds power to the ecu. the vehicle is an 89 dodge raider 3.0 v6, auto tranny.
i found what i think to be the power wire in the haynes manual, but i dont trust that manual 100% since i have found a few errors in there already. I have looked through mitsulinks.com and google but no luck.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have an 89 Montero FSM on the site. It should be the same info as the Raider. I'd pull it and see if the wire colors all match up to the connector you are looking at on the Raider.

thanks for the response. I checked the montero fsm again and i'm still not seeing an ecu connector diagram.

89 montero fsm, engine/chassis/body, MPI chapter, pgs 14-60 & 61. Trace from fusible links and key to ecu relay to ecu.

I completly looked over the MPI section. Thanks for pointing it out. MontyMCV had me headed toward the right direction, I just missed it.
After replacing the heads on my raider, Ive been trouble shooting this ignition system for about 4 months now. This thing has royally kicked my butt. But i think I'm on a good path now.
The shoals area is alive and well. Not sure how long you've been gone from the area but there is a great offroad park in Tuscumbia called Hawk Pride Mountain Offroad. If youre ever back this way, you need to check it out. Its well laid out and trails for every type of vehicle.

I just noted your last name. Are you related to Mike or Leon? Lived on Seymour in N. Flo.? I used to live on Ridge, the part off Paxton, which branches off Jackson Rd. right at the top of the hill. Went to Harlan and Appleby and Coffee HS, and UNA for that matter.

I still get up there from time to time, not as much as before my mother died. Still get together with friends from UNA about once a year, usually for a football game or a kegger at the Trace. I try to keep up. It's a nice town, but kinda boring, but you know that...

mannnnn...thats crazy! Mike is my dad. And youre exactly right about seymore ave. my grandmother lived there forever. If i remember correctly, I believe my great grandmother lived on ridge ave. She was a Danley. I take the trace every morning to work its a beautiful drive and would be the ideal location for a kegger..haha.

We did our keggers at Cypress picnic area, 2nd one north of the state line, and bought our beer at Berry's, in Cypress Inn, TN. In those days, the Trace river bridge was brand new, and it was nice to have a river crossing between O'Neal bridge and Pickwick dam. O'Neal still had the walkway down the middle, and was even narrower, and we used to drag race from Dales to the Sheffield side, talk about wheel to wheel. At least one of those ended up turning the WOWL owl's eye red. For those of you kibitzing on this old home discussion, WOWL was "Owl" radio (clever, for Alabama), and the big old black metal owl had two colored eyes salvaged from old stop lights, one red, one green. If nobody had died in a wreck, the green one was lit, red for a deader. The owl sat on the side of the road coming up to town out of the river bottom into Florence from the south. It was right beside Russell Minnow sales. In Florence, it was about FISHING for crappie and large mouth and blue catfish, and the news in the morning led off with the fishing report, who had caught what and how many, and where.

Thats some cool history! Thanks for sharing!! I had to take a break from working on the raider today and work on my cherokee. I did a ride at hawk pride this morning and ripped my rear drive shaft out of the pinion snout. Nice ride had a big hill climb there. Some of the guys from busted knuckle films were there recording and Adam Woodlee from wide open design was there with his rig.
