dang!
my inner boot came in this morning at my local NAPA.
1st----it's chinese. (guess it takes special skills we don't have in U.S. to make them).
2nd---the bands that came with them are unlike the OEM and the U.S. made B/A outer boot I already had.
The band has square holes in it and it looks like you have to hammer it or have a special press or something to clamp it.
Rockauto , here I come...

I went down to the "bigcity" SLOtown Fri. to hit a large older parts store that appearently is not so corporately controlled. They took alot of time and looked things up and tried to help me out on finding seals and boots.
One word keep poping up at this store , good numbers but part discontinued. At NAPA - " discontinued, unavailable or we can get that seal but its at a outlying warehouse and you have to pay shipping."

This morning I placed an order with Rockauto and returned the funcky chinese boot to NAPA.
Alot of stuff is on "closeout",,,"one left",,or isn't listed but was last time I looked.
Might be a good time for folks to stock up and buy seals and such for future repairs. We could all end up having to measure up other seals and find seals that 'might work'.

Some seals listed on Rockauto I wasn't sure wear they go,,,like closeout seal 710213. You can't thrust what they call stuff on Rockauto. This might be knuckle or diff or maybe inside the passegers side tube.
The number for the seal in the diff. I got from RECON45's list in FAQs (and man do I appreciate all the work he put into that) is still good and available,,,but dang that's an expensive seal. So I'm just doing the passenger side this month and order the diff seal and maybe that "13" seal if I figure out wear it goes next month.

Part number I ordered for my Gen 1 MT axle:

Inner boots- B/A 1032525
Outer boots- B/A 1032269,,,,closeout $5.97 (will they be unavailable soon???)
inner knuckle seal 710146 Nat./Tim.
.
I have MT circlips MB393884 (I just check and Korum still has them and the ATs MB526189 available ,,,for now )
