I evacuated the R-12. Then put in 85% of the R-12 weight of 134-a. Got the kit from advance.I didn't change anything... The A/C has been operating normally for 3 yrs now.39 degree air on max & recirculate.I did pull a vacuum twice before installing the 134-a.Just my 2 cents. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
