I think thats a good decesion on the oil pump. Hope you get a good one. Check it out close for flecks of metal on egdes where casted. Frank R had a problem with one there.

I hope the oil pump is a good one too. I checked a lot of places for OEM, but couldn't find one. I ended up buying a Clevite, which is probably a rebadged Melling. I'll definitely give it a good look over before installing it.
