So im thinking im gonna change out the spark plugs and wires on my montero. I have a good friend who is gonna help me with it as im not very mechanically inclined. After researching on here ive decided to go with NGK plugs and wires.
I was hoping someone can just confirm that ive chosen the right plugs and wires for my 95 montero
NGK (5464) BKR5EIX-11 Iridium IX NGK 8692 wires
Thanks

PFR6J11 plugs per the FSM. This may be an obsolete number, so check it.
edit: You have the correct numbers per the NGK catalog...

You spell that "iridium$$$$$$", but they are worth it. I got 137k out of a set on the wife's Subie 3.0 boxer6, and only changed them when the guilt got too bad - really didn't need to.

They r really not 2 bad as far as $$$$ goes, I got 6 of them for just under $40 and free shipping. Thats shocking that those lasted you so long, thats crazy!

I found the exact OEM spark plugs for $12.47 on amazon.com Denso The stealer is $10.40. FYI Believe it or not some of the belts were cheaper from stealer than Napa. Just a thought
