Unless someone's already done the plugs and left the plastic plug covers off, you'll also need to remove the intake to remove the covers before you can access the plugs. That said, you may want to buy an intake manifold gasket just in case.

That said, you may want to buy an intake manifold gasket just in case. Thankfully, at least on the 95, you do not need to remove the upper plenum (thats what ur referring too?) to remove the plastic covers, on the upper part of the plastic spark plug covers there are only 2 screws, at both ends, and three on the bottom part. Now as far as changing the spark plugs, LaOutbackTrail from expeditionportal states you dont even need to take of any of the plenum to change out the plugs. Although it might be easier to do so, as he states its not that hard to take of the plenum and i will have a friend helping me. Any hints, tips, or suggestions with tackling this job from anyone who has done it would definitely be appreciated

Hope so. On my 96SR (CA emissions) I was unable to remove the plug covers w/out first removing the intake plenum.

Any hints, tips, or suggestions with tackling this job from anyone who has done it would definitely be appreciated The best tip is use the service manual. It has a blowup of the manifold and bolts and where things are suppose to go. Don't mix up the bolts as you may strip out the threads if to long.

So im thinking about doing the driver side spark plugs by myself and i was wondering will doing half the spark plugs be bad in any way? Do you need to install them all at once?
Also how easy is it to remove the coil packs on the driver side?

The coil packs live on top of the driver's side spark plugs - they have to come off to replace the plugs. IIRC there are two small bolts attaching each coil pack to the valve cover. If I were you, with the misfire you're experiencing, I'd plan to pull the plenum and replace the gasket on the chance that it's a vacuum leak that's contributing to your issue. Removing the plenum isn't all that difficult, the hardest part is getting to the bolt on the rear driver's side of the plenum. Once you have it off, replacing your plugs and wires will be much easier.

OK you will not need to take off the intake plenum on your 95 (I own one). If you do unbolt the "UPPER" intake plenum that unbolts the Upper AND Lower intake (bolts go all the way through) And bolts all all different lengths. All the spark plugs come out pretty easy except the passenger middle one. That takes a little finesse but is doable. That being said try to do without unbolting plenum. I got my coil packs from Autozone and they were Mitsu OEM .

Not the plugs- THE COILS were Mitsu OEM. I have Autolight Platinums in mine the I got from wally world. My wires were also autozone. Work fine. As far as special tools Extensions with wobble head are good. Also maybe the other things (tired) that can flex.. Sorry can't be more clear.
