That's why we have much lower gearing than most other similar vehicles. 3500RPM continuously is no problem up in the 70+ MPH. I've run with a few other guys with the DOHC engines back when i had mine uphill to Flagstaff almost 6000RPM. The cool thing about that was that JohnnyB and myself were heading up to meet with some Nissans, they had newer X-terras with bigger motors, smaller tires and lighter trucks, we passed them and everyone else like they were going slow. 1999 Montero SAS'd on Kings and stuff 1998 Montero trying to get a V8 Swapped Re: 89 V6 auto 55mph rpm?
