I have searched but the results are kinda vauge. Could be user error but just doing what I do on IH8MUD and 2002FAQ. All vehicles that I have owned within the last 15 years or so always ride at the halfway mark. With the Raider it runs under the 1st mark but in yesterdays heat creeped up to just a little over.
I just got my 89 a month or so ago and addressed some other issues. Plan on replacing the thermostat, hoses, belts, and have the rad rodded out.
