I just picked up an axle from an '00 so I can install the lock right-style locker that shipped from Korea. I figured the 28 spline axle assembly was a direct fit in the 26 spline Sporties. But I've thought that a few times with some other mods, only to find that I was wrong. So how did you disable the ABS? Did you just remove the speed sensors? Is it giving you an ABS light on the cluster? Just curious. [Re: 4x4troy] #1048645 12/20/12 08:38 PM Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 34 middleburg,fl 4x4troy OP Getting the Wheeling Fever had some trouble with my kia...it got burnt up a little. so now I am going to do a rebuild/redsign. the only thing that will be kia is the body and frame. its getting a ford v8(5.0) and auto tranny. a d44 front a 9" rear and will be 4 link front and 4 link wishbone rear. it will run 35's and be exo'd. I was considering a 3.8 V6 from the late '90s ford or chevy; close to a hundred pounds lighter. Eventually, I came to the conclusion to go turbo instead with a stand alone computer. it will only add about 35-60 pounds and a lot of power... "Does this part need to be in there?" 1996 Dodge 1500 single cab / short bed, 5.9 4x4; 2" lift (springs not blocks), C.A.I and more mods to come. Re: got another one....
