If it's any consolation, I recently paid $2000 for an 89 here in Phoenix.

Old-ass 2.6L. Leaks oil everywhere.
Non-op AC. Missing fan, low on refrigerant, possible pressure switch failure.
Old-ass tires. (At least 2 people have said, "Wow. Those tires are still on there?")
Kick ass Aussie crawler gears in the tcase. Which is really nice.
No bouncy seats.
No spares.

I say the above not to sound like some kind of ingrate. Quite the contrary. I daily drive the little fun cooker in 112?F heat five days a week. I gotta double clutch it in 2nd and 3rd to keep it from making the most heinous grinding noises, but I love my truck.

I think what I paid was more than fair. It came from a local Mitsubishi 4WD brother who made it clear how much he appreciated the platform and this community. If you're not getting bites here, maybe you should expand your gaze. Are you on any DSM, Starion, or Evo boards? If you love Mitsubishis and you're thinking about a 4WD, there's really only one truck for you.

GLWS. Remember, you're selling something turnkey. That's not an 89 Dodge. It's a turnkey Mitsubishi adventure machine and entry into an automotive community the likes of which few tarmac wienies will ever truly know.
