Hello all,

I am looking to put LED bulbs in my gauge cluster, and the inclinometer cluster. My truck is getting some work, and I am not currently with it. Would anyone mind telling me off hand how many bulbs are needed for each unit? Do the bulbs need to be the amber color, or can they be white? I still want the orange glow, but wasn't sure if the stock bulbs are white or amber. I appreciate the help! Christopher. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />

For the gen 1 they are mostly incandescent bulbs w/out any color tint to the bulb so a slightly yellowish tinged white.

Yeah, I am trying to figure out how many bulbs are in the main gauge cluster, and what type and amount are in the inclinometer, oil pressure, voltmeter unit.

Idiot lights - main panel
(12) type 74 (plus 1 if you have an oil pressure light)
(1) type 158 (CEL)
Dash illumination:
(4) type unknown*
Pod cluster:
(2) type unknown*

* should be the same - pull one and check.
