Did the same with an OEM hose part#: MB5547777, $60.
Also make sure that you hose the area well, dirt find its ways back there in impresive quantities.

I removed the metal filler neck from the fender. This gave me a bit more working room to get everything apart and back together.
On the small hoses, I did not drop the tank. I changed the ones I could reach.

Is the napa hose flexible? Is your replacement rubbing on the frame? I tried splicing using 2" exhaust pipe and 2" straight water hose but it leaks.

Water hose is not fuel proof, and will rot out. Napa hose is stiff, straight wall, but somewhat flexible.

Napa hose is very heavy duty.
