Well, you got me too. I see that the gasket does not line up. Have you tried to line the gasket up to the pump and then mount the pump? Do the bolt holes for your pump line up to the gasket and the block? Obviously it would help if you remembered where you got the block, but I am confused because I have successfully transfered a caravan block. Answer me those few questions and I will try to research some of the other options. The 6G72 was put in tons of Mitsubishi, Dodge, and even Hyundai vehicles, perhaps the oil pump was drastically different for one of them.
