Anyone know of any i called the stc engines(ebay guys) all they have in stock right now is 4d56s with manual i gotta have a auto. I'm ready to buy just need the hook up <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Not sure the 4D's came with an auto. Mine has one but it is from the 2.6 gasser. Stall and shift points are a little high for the diesel but it gets down the road alright. 2.6 flexplate bolts right on.

yep they offered them with auto tranny, i'm been emailing a importer in canada but they want me to arrange the shipping and US/canada shipping paper work I don't know even where to start with that so i'm gonna look for a US dealer that will thats all setup for shipping.

Mighty Max Diesel 4x4 Not what you're looking for but the thing looks solid aside from the baked paint but that's the norm in these parts too. If you could get it for 2k it would be a good donor, add a AW2 transmission i think. OR Diesel MightyMax/bobbed bed/93" SWB montero wheelbase/ full SR coil suspension & IFS/ Hydraulic control lockup AW2. We have the power and ability, let me know.

he has picked up parts from canada and ship to a few people.
good guy email him and see if he could find something or work with you
owned a few .. current 86 rustbucket 2.5td . manual hubs

Have you looked into buying a whole vehicle from Canada? Lots of 4D56 autos up here.

I found a killer deal on a '91 SWB 4D56, but he bought a Toyota 3.0 TD. I'm sure there will be a write up.

yep ended up buying a yota 3.0 TD like toasty said once it comes in i'll post up some pics add to my "savage trugg build" thread that i need to update anyway
