I'm honestly, sincerely not trying to be an <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> or discourage you by saying this, but if the snap ring gave you that much trouble, you might want to allow more than a weekend for this. I believe it took novice me at least 2 weekends, but everything was terribly rusted together, and I also meticulously cleaned and repacked the bearings.

All of my hub-to-rotor bolts were in terrible shape. Took several hours with an impact gun and huge breaker bar to get those off.

My rotors were rusted solid to the hub assembly, I laid the whole thing flat on a wooden plank, and ran a lag bolt with a huge washer (i used a circ saw blade for extra danger) down through the center to secure it to the plank. Then I spent eternity in a cloud of PB blaster, heating the rotor with propane torch and pounding it with a massive sledge hammer. It sucked, but it worked.

It's not the easiest job but I did learn a lot. And it sure brakes nice now! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> Best of luck!
