I'm honestly, sincerely not trying to be an <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> or discourage you by saying this, but if the snap ring gave you that much trouble

I understand what your saying, i take no offense. Id like to address this as, i got a feeling its on alot of the experts minds here...

Im new to working on vehicles, its no longer economical to be taking my vehicles to shops to get repaired, so im trying to learn everything i can now, in order to work on my own vehicles. I freely admit im like a "baby" right now and really need to be spoonfed answers. I hate to use the old cliche but it fits here...everyone really has to start somewhere.

I understand my "simple" questions might annoy people here, and or frustrate the people trying to help me, but i really am doing the best i can. I went from not knowing what a wobble socket was to changing my spark plugs and wires on my 95 SR, which was done in one day. I was only able to do that by asking these "simple" questions, and using what i learned from peoples responses.

The snapring and pliers were something i have never heard of, ever. I had to watch youtube videos to see what they were. Not only that, but i was trying to be very very careful as not to damage anything.

I really appreciate everyones help and responses, thank you guys for being patient with me, i do take peoples advice, and i am learning.

On a side note, does anyone know where i can get another one of these snaprings? Does it have to be the exact mitsu part or can i just buy any snapring from a parts store that fits?
