ok i think im all set for this job...heres a pic of what the modified tool looks like for the locknut, in case other people need to know (thanks to WigWiggy for the link), also i hope i got the right grease. The grease i bought looks and smells exactly the same as on the monty.

In case other people wonder about the locknut tool, i bought it off ebay. Its a 3/4-1ton wheel bearing locknut tool, made by performance tool(part number w1270). I used a hand grinder to grind off the 4 xtra metal stubs.
