Sorry,
Thought you were talking about the lens. Don't know if you can do anything to the highly polished chrome finish inside.
If you do the headlight trick that Panicmech (I am the 3rd guy to do it I guess) IT IS 250F he is talking about NOT C.
Just check them often for the sealant to soften not the plastic.
